Visited this abandoned factory a few years ago. This has been abandoned for more than 60 years. Now part of the roof is coming down.
They used to make tiles and cinema chairs, and I suspect that the owner lived here too. The name of the location comes from the old Mercedes that used to be standing in the garage, but since then the car has been bought and renovated.
The part I liked the most, was the old machine and tool room. Where a world war one diesel engine was used to power a hydraulic pump with belt drive. The hydraulic pressure was used in the tile factory for pressing and lifting items.
Haven’t seen many photo’s of the machine room, so I guess not many people have found it.
